RTX 5080

The RTX 5080 occupies an awkward spot in NVIDIA's Blackwell lineup: roughly half the price of the RTX 5090, yet still aimed squarely at serious 4K gamers. The complication is that the previous generation left a strong mark in this segment with the RTX 4080 Super, which means the RTX 5080's real job this time is to prove that moving to Blackwell and newer GDDR7 memory is worth the upgrade, not just a cosmetic refresh with bigger numbers.
