HONOR has launched its latest phone, the HONOR 600 Pro, to compete in the "flagship killer" class. It relies on Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite for strong, dependable performance, and puts real weight behind endurance with a 7000 mAh battery, 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging — alongside a metal body with the highest water and dust ratings, a flat AMOLED display with extraordinary brightness, and a very strong camera system.

What stands out about the HONOR 600 Pro

The phone runs Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite, built on a 3nm process with an Adreno 830 GPU — the same chip class used by flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which genuinely puts its raw power in flagship territory.

It pairs that with up to 12GB of RAM (up to 16GB in some markets) and up to 512GB of storage (up to 1TB in some markets), with no memory card expansion.

Worth noting: this powerful chip comes with a noticeable rise in temperature under sustained heavy use and long gaming sessions — fairly common behaviour for Snapdragon 8 Elite chips in general.

The display is a flat 6.57-inch AMOLED at 1264 × 2728 px with a high pixel density of 458 ppi, a 120Hz refresh rate, an excellent 3840Hz PWM dimming rate, and a claimed brightness of 8000 nits (independent measurements recorded closer to 6000 nits in direct sunlight — still a very high figure).

The back is actually glass with an aluminium side frame — not fibreglass as sometimes claimed — which gives the phone a premium, top-tier feel.

The camera system is triple: a 200 MP main lens (F/1.9 aperture, 1/1.4-inch sensor) with optical stabilisation, a true 50 MP telephoto lens (F/2.8) delivering real optical zoom up to 3.5x and digital zoom up to 120x, and a third 12 MP ultrawide lens.

The front camera is 50 MP.

The battery is 7000 mAh (6400 mAh on the European version) with 80W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging (requiring a separate wireless charger) and 27W reverse charging.

The phone launched officially in Egypt in a single 512GB / 12GB RAM version at around EGP 53,000 (local warranty) — the only version officially available in Egypt at launch.
