Apple has launched its most powerful phone, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, to take on the strongest flagships — with an all-new design and a new rear camera layout, a major step forward in the latest Apple A19 Pro chip and a new cooling chamber to keep heat in check, a new 18 MP selfie camera, an updated 48 MP telephoto lens, the largest battery in iPhone history, a big 6.9-inch display with higher brightness, and excellent stereo sound as usual. The display is an LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED with the Dynamic Island design, measuring 6.9 inches at 1320 × 2868 px with 460 ppi, full Always-On Display support, a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, Ceramic Shield 2 protection on the front with an improved anti-reflective layer, and brightness reaching 3000 nits automatically outdoors (up to 1600 nits peak for HDR content).

This year's design is the biggest change in years: Apple dropped the titanium of the previous iPhone 16 Pro Max and returned to a one-piece aluminium unibody in aerospace-grade 7000-series alloy — improving heat dissipation and freeing internal space for the largest battery in iPhone history. The phone launched globally at a base price of $1,200 for the 256GB version, reaching $2,000 for the 2TB version. In Egypt it costs approximately EGP 107,000 for the 256GB version (zero-tax warranty), rising to about EGP 128,000 for the 512GB version.

In Saudi Arabia the price ranges between SAR 5,700 and 9,700 depending on storage, and in the UAE between AED 5,100 and 8,500.
