HONOR has launched its new phone, the HONOR 600, to compete hard in the mid-range. It leans on a premium design with a metal frame, a strong Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, a flat AMOLED display at 1.5K resolution with exceptional sunlight brightness, a 200 MP rear camera, and a huge 7000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

What stands out about the HONOR 600

The display is a flat 6.57-inch AMOLED at 1264 × 2728 px with a very high pixel density of 458 ppi, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, an excellent 3840Hz PWM dimming rate that reduces eye strain, and a claimed brightness of 8000 nits in HDR (independent measurements recorded closer to 6100 nits on auto brightness in direct sunlight) — still among the highest in its class either way.

The phone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, built on a 4nm process with an Adreno 722 GPU — the same chip used by rivals such as the Vivo V70, Oppo Reno 15 and Realme 16 Pro Plus — which means strong, stable performance for this price class.

It comes in several memory versions: 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, or 12GB of RAM with 256GB or even 512GB in some global markets, with no memory card expansion.

The rear camera is dual: a 200 MP main lens (F/1.9) with optical stabilisation and a 1/1.4-inch sensor, plus a 12 MP ultrawide lens, while the front camera is 50 MP.

The battery is 7000 mAh with 80W fast charging and 27W reverse charging.

On durability, the phone earned strong IP68/IP69/IP69K water and dust ratings.

Note that the phone's back is actually plastic despite a premium look that suggests glass or fibreglass; the side frame is genuinely aluminium.

The phone launched officially in Egypt at around EGP 27,000 for the 256GB / 8GB RAM version, rising to roughly EGP 29,000 for the 256GB / 12GB RAM version (local warranty), with some pre-order offers including gifts.

In Saudi Arabia the price ranges between SAR 1,800 and 2,000, and in the UAE between AED 1,600 and 1,900 depending on the RAM version.
